On February 24th, 2017, Kentucky NSF EPSCoR hosted the 2nd Annual Super Collider event. This year’s conference set a new attendance record, with over 90 EPSCoR-supported research students and faculty from around the state in attendance.

Super Collider aims to provide EPSCoR-supported research participants with a venue to engage and interact with their colleagues in other departments or institutions, with the goal of forging new scientific collaborations. This year’s event featured a peer-judged poster session, in which attendees were encouraged to vote for the best posters. The participants whose posters received the most votes had the opportunity to present their work to the entire audience and share the outcomes of their EPSCoR-funded projects.
